We are so much more than a trade-in site.
Doing good through business is at our very core; it’s what drives us to grow.
Ziffit is part of a circular economy which means that no product is sent to landfill. We are proud to be a B Corp™, and continue to work hard as a business for good.
As a sustainable company, we either resell or recycle every single item that comes into our hands. This is really important to us, and we know it’s important to you as well.
As a business for good, we also help charities to shift their surplus stock (items they cannot sell) so that they can optimise their profit (make more money!). Through our parent company, World of Books Group, we give back to communities that need it.
All you need to do is gather up any items that you no longer need or want, scan the barcodes on Ziffit and complete your trade.
Trade with Ziffit to your part in the circular economy, reusing items to give them a new home, as well as a great way to declutter and earn some cash.

It all began with a single bag of books...
Ziffit is a proud member of the World of Books Group. The Group comprises three re-commerce technology businesses: Ziffit, Wob, and Shopiago. It all began with a bag of books, rescued by book-loving entrepreneurs from a charity shop bin destined for landfill. Our founders recognised an opportunity to save books from waste by reselling and rehoming surplus stock which charity shops are unable to sell.
The World of Books Group purpose: A circular economy, for-profit company that supports charities and protects the planet by enabling more goods to be reused.
Ziffit is a 100% circular economy providing an easy way for consumers to trade in old books, CDs, DVDs, and games. Once books and media are bought and processed, items can be resold through Wob and other platforms, donated to brilliant causes, or responsibly recycled.
Ziffit scanning software has been developed for charity shops, enabling them to quickly scan and list items onto multiple e-commerce platforms to generate additional income for good causes. Ziffit technology has also been developed to power in-store 'buy-back' (trade-in for credit) partnership programs in new book shops. These valued partnerships expand our mission to keep as many books as possible in circulation.
The World of Books Group has two fully operational warehouses in the UK comprising 220,000sq.ft. This is enough space for 5 million stock items, allowing us to reuse and recycle over 85 million books every year.
The Group is growing both in the UK and internationally. We want to be the global leader in buying and reselling used books, using our platform and innovative technology to share the power to reuse and recycle for less.
