It’s really important to ensure that you review our quality checks before you submit any of your items to us, as we cannot return anything that comes in and is then rejected.
Below is a handy guide to ensuring your items are all accepted.
TRADING IN YOUR CD'S, DVD'S AND GAMES...
As a rule, we can only accept items with a barcode number (EAN) as this is a unique 13 digit number used to catalogue saleable goods.
CDs DVDs and Games will not be accepted if:
The items that are sent in are not identical to what has been submitted in your trade – make sure the EAN’s match up.
The items are not in the original casing
They are copies or fakes - they will be rejected and disposed of so original discs only please [image]
The discs don’t match the cover sleeve/case – take care in ensuring that they all match
They are heavily scratched discs and don’t play perfectly.[image]
Take time to ensure that all covers, sleeve notes and instructions (games) are included and not damaged or defaced in any way. This includes water damage and any hand written inscriptions.
TRADING IN YOUR BOOKS...
We can only accept books that have an ISBN number. The ISBN is a numeric 9, 10 or 13 digit number that is unique to each individual book. It appears underneath the barcode on most books.
We cannot accept books if:
The cover has sustained heavy damage.
ISBN doesn’t match the item you submitted during your trade.
Not all of the pages are intact
Pages are missing or heavily discoloured.
Pages contain writing, annotation or answers (textbooks).
There is any water damage
All original supplements such as discs or gifts are not included.
The original dust jacket hasn’t been included
Please also note that we cannot accept or return any additional items that were not scanned and are included in the box(es) you send on to us. So make sure you double check what goes into the box before sealing and posting to us.
Follow these points above and you won’t go far wrong. If, however, you’re still unsure about whether an item will be accepted – send a couple of photos and a description to email@example.com and we will aim to come back to you within 3 working days with our advice.
