So, Ziffit have an app. It has finally happened, we are officially mobile.
If you have an iPhone, iPad or iAnything Else for that matter, you can now scan in all of those lovely books, games, CDs and DVDs. By the time the final refrains of Auld Lang Syne are fading away in 2014, the Android app should be available to download too – ensuring full coverage. Great news.
But of course, one question still burns bright: why should I download the Ziffit app? Well, here are 5 good(ish) reasons you should give it a go:
1. It’s easy
In fact, we’d go as far as to say it is easy peasy to use. Just download, open it up and start scanning in barcodes using your device’s camera. There are no numbers to type, no need to hunt down the ISBN and hopefully less room for error.
You can even complete a trade directly through the app. Just follow the normal process and enter your details safely and securely to offload your clutter in a matter of minutes.
2. It’s free
We all love a good freebie. Okay, so the Ziffit app isn’t quite a free meal or a tidy hatchback from a gameshow, but at least it won’t cost a penny. So even if you just want to see what something might be worth, without actually committing to a full trade or even signing up for an account, then look no further.
It’s very much a no obligation, commitment-free, cost-effective, straightforward, easy-to-use application. We love it and we hope you do too. However, if you really, really don’t like it or don’t fancy selling your stuff at the moment, it’s just as easy to remove. And, just like the man who went to the doctor because he couldn’t day his “th’s” and “f’s”, you can’t say fairer than that.
3. It’s quick
We’ve had thousands of customers use Ziffit.com to sell their unwanted, unloved or unused items. During that time most have been happy to simply type in barcodes and ISBNs manually through the site. Indeed this is still very much available.
However, if you want a change of scenery or just can’t be bothered to put in all those numbers, the Ziffit app is the perfect antidote. Now all you need to do is scan in each item by hovering over the barcode with your iPhone or iPad. You barely need to press anything and it only takes a couple of seconds to register the item and add it to your basket.
Okay, so now we’re just blowing our own horn. But there’s never been a better time to give Ziift a go. We’re delighted to have received so many fantastic reviews and brilliant feedback from Ziffiters around the UK, but always welcome newcomers.
As you may have guessed from the above, it is all pretty straightforward. You won’t have to worry about delivering multiple packages, dealing with buyer’s questions or having to pay seller’s fees with us, no siree. Just scan your items in, box them up and send them off; then, just a few days later, the cash will be yours.
5. It’s pretty
Come on, the list would have looked lopsided with only 4 reasons. Plus we think it really is a thing of beauty. Sure there might be some rose tinted glasses involved, but the good folk at Brightec have done a great job designing and building the Ziffit app, so deserve a heap of credit. And when the Android app lands in time for the January sales, we’re sure that will be just as fantastic – maybe even better.
Don’t forget, you can let us know what you think at any time. Just email us on feedback@ziffit.com to give us your thoughts on the app, site or any other part of the service. Whether you’re happy, confused or have spotted a fault, we appreciate your feedback.
